David Spuria

David loves entrepreneurial environments and breathing life into organizations. He uses his 20+ years of experience in law and finance to produce sage guidance for our growing company. His career includes his current role as Partner and General Counsel for Southlake Equity Group, with prior engagements as General Counsel of Texas Pacific Group, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel for New York-based Capital Z Partners, and Partner in the law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges. David has a JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law where he learned the intricacies of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and regulatory law. For CaraGreen, he handles legal and administrative matters, deals with professional advisors, lenders and investors, and handles government and regulatory matters, such as state and federal policy related to green building.
